James & Lloyd

It was only eight months into our relationship that James was offered a job in Jersey. What was originally planned as "just 12 months" turned into two and a half years during a global pandemic. Somehow, despite being 320 miles apart, our time together in Jersey brought us closer together.

Jersey will forever be somewhere incredibly special to both of us. It was on the beach at Portelet Bay where we became engaged. Although neither of us previously had dreams of a destination wedding, it is to Jersey that we have decided to return to exchange our wedding vows.

So many of our family and friends had hoped to visit us in Jersey while James was working there, but the world had other ideas. Our wedding is now our chance to share with all our loved ones a taste of why we think Jersey is so special.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the island's biggest town, St Helier. We know that many of those joining for our celebrations are taking a few days to soak up the island life.

We know that Jersey is somewhere many of our guests will be visiting for the first time. We hope that our wedding will give them time to explore some of Jersey's many beaches, learn some of the island's history and sample some local food and drink. We also hope that they will share our love for Jersey too.
