Early arrivals...

We know many of you are visiting Jersey for the first time and looking forward to a few extra days exploring the island.

Our only formal plans are on Friday 26 September, but if you are arriving early or leaving late you are also most welcome to join us before and after the big day.

Thursday 25 September
The Italian Supper
From 7:30pm - Caffe Ristorante

One of our favourite places to eat is Caffe Ristorante Italia in St Helier, which is close to many of the hotels where our guests are staying.

The restaurant is known for good home-made food. Not only that but the house wine is extremely drinkable and very good value. Its informal appearance and relaxed atmosphere are two of the things we find most appealing.

We have have booked tables for 40 people from 7:30pm. There is no need to order in advance and the restaurant is aware some people will arrive late. They will seat and serve us in groups as we arrive.

Caffe Ristorante Italia is in a small arcade under a large building on La Colomberie in the centre of St Helier. You will be able to walk there from your hotel. If navigating by phone use What3Words ///terminal.whom.promises

Saturday 27 September
Relaxing at the beach
From 1pm - Portelet Bay

Jersey is blessed with many wonderful beaches but Portelet Bay has a very special place in our hearts.

It is on this beach that we got engaged and we think it’s the perfect place to relax after our busy day of wedding celebrations. If you would like to join us, bring your beachwear. The sea is a glorious temperature in September and there is a beachside pizza restaurant.

The car park at Portelet Bay is a 15 minute drive from St Helier. The 12A bus runs from Liberation Station in St Helier hourly. The journey takes 15 minutes. The path down to Portelet Bay beach includes 220 steps. If driving use What3Words ///wink.playlists.mats
